"Preventing Toenail Fungus"

It's important to understand propper prevention techniques in order to keep toenail fungus from reoccurring. I've made a list of some simple things to be aware of that may lead to toenail fungus.

1. Do not cut your toenails too short. Doing so may cause minor cuts on the toe leaving it open to toenail fungus.

2. Avoid wearing sweaty shoes. Shoes still laden with sweat from yesterday need to be dried out before worn again. Moisture is the breeding ground of fungus.

3. Wear sandals in public areas such as pools, showers, gyms, or locker rooms.

4. Make sure you wear absorbant socks. This will help alleviate the moisture around your toes decreasing risk for fungal infection.

5. Make sure your shoes aren't too tight. This may lead the nail to swell in addition to help agitate possibly fungi.

Applying Zetaclear after treating your toenail fungus is a great way to prevent any further fungus.
